It felt so good to get out of the hustle and bustle of Fairfield County for a weekend. The long stretches of roads and rolling hills of Pennsylvania farmland were so calming. I found myself in awe of the sheer simple beauty of this land. With my film camera in hand, I’m pretty sure I made my husband stop the car to snap some photos every couple of feet.
We stopped along-side the road to pick up some farm fresh eggs, baked bread, all natural grass-fed meat, and the list goes on and on. What a delight to see these chickens roam free!
We also stopped at a lovely market called Echo Hill where we picked up unique baking flours, nuts, and other snack items. I would highly recommend checking it out if you are ever near Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.
I really can’t get enough of these views. The hardest part as a film photographer? Waiting for your film to be developed! I’m looking forward to our next trip. Lucky for me, my aunt is waiting for me with open arms 🙂
